Choudhary Jamal Din, District President ST Morcha BJP District Kishtwar accompanied by Ch. Haji Mohd. Ayoub Betab, State General Secretary ST Morcha called on the party high command at Jammu head office and apprised them that the previous governments in J&K state have used Bakerwal and Gujjar communities as their vote bank and deprived this Scheduled Tribe Community of all its basic fundamental and constitutional rights particularly the Gujjar and Bakerwal communities in District Kishtwar.
The leaders have said that since the date Narendra Modi has taken over as the Prime Minister of India BJP government a ray of hope has enlightened amongst the Gujjars and Bakerwals that their long pending demands will be fulfilled to mitigate them sufferings and extending them all fundamental and constitutional rights for their welfare and upliftment.
Ch. Jamal Din has demanded opening of mobile schools in District Kishtwar for extending proper educational facilities to the wards of Gujjars and Bakerwals, ensuring power supplies, drinking water supplies to the localities inhabited by Gujjar and Bakerwals. He has also demanded recruitment of educated Gujjar and Bakerwal youth in Police Department, Sheep/Animal Husbandry and Forest Department to eradicate unemployment amongst the Gujjar and Bakerwal communities.
The party High Command gave a patient hearing to Ch. Jamal Din and assured him that all genuine demands of this Gujjar and Bakerwal community will be taken up with the concerned authorities for fulfilling.
