Civil Society of Talab Tillo, which has been the front runner in organizing the meetings of various social, cultural and religious organisations from time to time for a better communication and understanding among the different sections of the society, organised a Police-Public Meet at Dharam Palace located in Talab Tillo are of Jammu West Constituency.
The Police department was represented by SDPO West DyS.P. Nikhil Rasgotra, Station House Officer,Nowabad, Inpector Raghuveer Singh Choudhary, Police Post Incharge, Canal Road, Sub Inspector Vijay Sharma and Police Post Incharge, Talab Tillo, Sub Inspector Rahul Mahajan. A large number of local residents, including senior citizens and youth, attended this meeting.
The agenda of this meeting was mainly based on the issues related to youth, as majority of whom feel scared going to the police stations. Several youth of the locality inform the police about their issues. The discussion was mainly based on drugs, traffic problems, rash driving and Triple riding.
SDPO West DyS.P. Nikhil Rasgotra told the members of the civil society that he and his team is already working very hard to crack the drug mafia and also assured the members of the society that their genuine issues will be taken on priority.
Civil society Member Keshav Chopra requested the police to solve the issues of youth on priority so that youth feel secured.
Parneesh Mahajan, Mohinder Singh, Sanjeev Sharma, Rajan Gupta, Jeet Angral, Rohit Kerni, Ravi Kant, jatin Sethi, Shanti Saroop Gupta and several others attended the meeting.
