Dr. Sonam Dawa Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh inaugurates newly installed BSNL Mobile Tower in Shang Sumda and a newly constructed Link Road from Sumda to Chokdo of Shang village and handed over to the inhabitants of the village which was dedicated by Martselang Councillor Jamyang Tsering Namgyal asLosar Gift to his people. During the inaugural function CEC was accompanied by Tsering Wangdus Executive Councillor (Rural Dev. Dept), and Jamyang Tsering Namgyal Councillor (Martselang) LAHDC Leh.
Inaugurating the BSNL Tower in Shang CEC Dr. Dawa congratulate the people of Shang village and appreciate the remarkable initiative taken by Councillor Jamyang Tsering Namgyal by making possible to install a mobile tower in such a very small village by contributing funds out of his CCDF to construct Shelter, Road, Power Backup, Carriage & Labour Charges and providing of undisputed Land etc. Dr. Dawa Said, “Councillor Jamyang has set an example for other villages and leaders to work in way of convergence by contributing 70% of responsibility by him”. He also appreciate the BSNL wing Leh for their prompt responses to the idea of the young councillor of the area and extending their all kinds of supports to fulfil the demand of the rural people.
Inaugurating the 6KM Link Road from Sumdo to Chokdo Dr. Sonam Dawa dedicates the Road also as a Losar Gift from the Councillor Jamyang Tsering Namgyal as he has released Rs.5 Lakh and complete the fare weather Road through Rural Department withing last two years of his tenure as the road was 20 years of Demand of the people.
Speaking on the occasion Tsering Wangdus EC (RDR) says that Road and Telecommunications are the basic necessaries of overall development and is has began in village like Shang after 70 years of Indian independent . He also express happiness for the achievements of the Shang village under the leadership of Councillor Jamyang Tsering Namgyal.
Welcoming the CEC, EC, Councillor and Officials Village Nambarder and BJP senior leader Rigzin Sumda have expressed their happiness for accomplished of their long pending genuine demands.

Department, Executive Engineer, AEE and JE of Construction Division of PWD, LAHDC Leh for their coordination and extraordinary performances.
