BJP State Vice President Dr Darakhshan Andrabi was felicitated by BJP Mandal Body of Sonwar Assembly Constituency for being appointed as the State Vice President. The function was organised at Indira Nagar in Sonwar area in Srinagar which was attended by all Constituency level office bearers including Constituency president Ghulam Hassan, Vice President Ali Mohamad and other prominent leaders including Abdul Ahad, Manzoor Ahmad, Nissar Ahmad and Mohammad Rajab.
Dr Andrabi was garlanded and presented flower bouquets. The body expressed happiness on DR Andrabi’s elevation in party as State Vice president and thanked the State President and the General Secretary for appointing Dr Andrabi, the strongest face of BJP in Kashmir. While thanking the party colleagues for this courtesy Dr Darakhshan said that she has always done her politics as a social servant and she will continue to do so in future will much strenghth as she has a big party at the back.
Dr Andrabi said that BJP will be a big political force in Kashmir valley also in the years to come as here also people have started realising that Narendra Modi led BJP is the future of this country for a long time. She said that the youth power will surprise those who speculate that BJP has no roots in Kashmir.
