Digital connectivity would be wonder for India: Rekha

Continuing with the motive of reaching out to people in their local areas and make them aware about the “cashless transactions”, BJP Mahila Morcha held a programme at Purani Mandi in the old city of Jammu District under Morcha Jammu District President Rekha Mahajan, wherein a large number of people from different walks of life were educated on the need and importance of this new concept.

BJP all Morchas Prabhari Munish Sharma and BJP IT & Social Media Department Incharge Jaidev Rajwal spoke in details about the advantages of cashless economy and asked them to make others also aware about it.

This programme was organized by BJP Mahila Morcha  General Secretary Savita Anand.

Munish Sharma, on this occasion, said that the present governments at the centre and in the State are committed for the upliftment of  the living standards of poor, for which numerous welfare schemes have been launched. He appealed all to come forward to take optimum benefit of state and centrally sponsored schemes including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Bima Yojna, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Ujjwala Yojana, Ladli Beti, State Marriage Assistance Scheme and other similar schemes.

On this occasion, Jaidev Rajwal made people aware about the usage of Unified Payments Interface  (UPI), Adhar Enabled Payment System Cards (POS).Unstructured Supplementary Service Data  (USSD), E-wallet . He also talked about the other incentives like lucky grahak yojna, diji-dhanvyoar yojna, discounts  etc for using cashless transactions. He also told the people about newly launched App BHIM where one will require only his or her thumb to pay and now the thumb will be one’s bank.

Rekha Mahajan said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always emphasized for the empowerment of women from the day first and if we see more or less all the schemes has some bearing on the women fraternity. She said that on the arrival of new year we should take resolution that every person will do at least five digital transactions as told by our PM. Over the 100 days period several families will be given the prizes and we may be one of them. She further said that the digital connectivity would be wonder for India.
