Member of Legislative Assembly Constituency from R.S.Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat inspected various Government Educational institutions at the main baazar R.S.Pura he was apprised by the principal of the school about the damages that has been caused by the recent torrential rains in the area, office of the Principal has been damaged along with Library ,smart class room and other class rooms were damaged , at present students of the school along with the staff were having tough time. The condition of the school building was not satisfactory as per safety norms, said Dr. Gagan Bhagat while talking to the Media persons at R.S.Pura, he further added that it is totally unsafe building as it appears ,he on spot directed the Director School Education Jammu to ensure the safety of the, Students ,staff and prepare a report on safety by the road and building departmant within one week. He later on interacted with the students of the school regarding various facilities available in the insitution, he advised them to actively participate in the cultural and sports activities. Later on the Dr. Gagan Bhagat took a meeting of the staff including Lecturers, Masters and Teachers and inquired about their attendence and the Job assigned to them ,he further directed the staff to be more attentive and personally monitor every student and accordingly give feedback to their parents, he also stressed on regularly holding parent- teachers meeting (PTMs) on monthly basis, organising Sports & Cultural activities regularly, so that overall development of a student takes place. Dr. Gagan also directed the management to ensure regular Yoga classes in the school.Regarding the special coaching for the competitive examinations he asked the Principal of the school to give the names of the deserving cases ,he also suggested that the celebrations of the 70th Independence day must take place with zeal and enthusiasm and none of the students should be absent on that day.And the same must be done with respect to the forthcoming teachers day on September 5th , so that the teachers who work hard all the year around must be felicitated on teachers day.He said that he will visit every institutions in R.S.Pura assembly segement. Tehsildar R.S.Pura, SHO R.S.Pura, ZEO R.S.Pura, AEE (RNB) EO- R.S.Pura and other officers accompenied the legislator during his visit.
