Displaying a humane gesture towards the society, the Scheduled Tribe (ST) Morcha of BJP under its State President Dr. Tahir Chowdhary, provided help to a Gujjar family to facilitate the marriage of their two daughters. Since both the daughters were at the age of marriage but unfortunately the poor family could not arrange their marriage. After coming to know about the problem of the family which was a hurdle in the marriage, Dr. Tahir Chowdhary, alongwith State Co-Convenor of BJP Human Rights Cell Kushal Sharma, visited the residence of this family in Sainik Colony area of Jammu city and handed over various commodities in the shape of ration besides providing them financial aid for the purpose.
Dr. Tahir Chowdhary, while interacting with the members of poor family, said that we are living in a civilized society where each one of us should share joy and sorrow of our neighbours and the needy ones. He said that the help provided to the family for arranging marriage of two daughters is being given from own resources and other people should also come forward to contribute towards such noble service. He assured the family members that whatever more is required, the same will also be arranged for them.
Dr. Tahir Chowdhary said that the BJP is a party which stands on the philosophy of Antodya as envisaged by Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay and which lays stress on extending help to the poor and needy in the society. He said that wiping out the tears of a poor is biggest service to the mankind and the people who are well off should make it a habit to share their happiness with other by providing them some sort of assistance.
