Construction work of Rotary at Amphalla Chowk near Central Jail was started by MLC Ramesh Arora and inauguration was done in presence of X-En Municipality Parmod Kumar, AEE Saraf and other staff members of municipality including the presence of locals like Devinder Singh, Tej Krishan, Shri, Kamal, Raja, H.S. Lehiri, Chandan Sethi, Jaideep Singh Soodan, Sikander and distinguish people of locality. That the rotary will be reconstructed/developed on modern lines at a cost of Rs 3.50 Lac .Sitting arrangement will also be made and ultimately the rotary will be developed in a manner which become example for others declared by Ramesh Arora.and assured contribution of more requested funds if needed to complete the development project.
Mr. Arora while addressing the gathering said that we are marching towards smart city and it is the responsibility of each and every individual to contribute in Swach Bharat Abhihan because only construction of good roads and rotaries will not spice the purpose unless and until all decides to keep their area clean and people present on spot pledged for the same.
Mr. Arora while accepting the demand for alternative road from Bantalab-Janipur to Manda and said it will be completed very soon and this matter was also discussed in District Development Board meeting at Jammu.
Mr.Arora further assured that a zone for Rehriswala is being created and for keeping city clean all will be shifted in the area demarcated for them.
Mr. Arora further apprised the public that for removing encroachment at Tawi Bed is viewed seriously and Divisional Commissioner is appointed as a authority by the Chief Minister to remove all encroachment and Arora further said he was successful in getting declared Vikram Chowk Old Railway Station and R.S.Pura Railway Station as heritage points. He thanked all the present for their efforts in demanding the renovation of rotary.
