BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today chaired one day convention of the working committee of BJP Rural Mandal Rajouri. On his arrival he was welcomed by the party leaders and workers and latter he inaugurated the convention by lighting a lamp. Addressing the participants of the convention Vibodh gave a detailed account of various on going welfare schemes of Central and State Governments. He called upon the party workers to make people living in far off and remote villages aware about these schemes so that they can be benefitted from these schemes. He further added that these schemes will prove a real success only when poor of the poorest for whom these schemes are meant will benefit from these schemes. He laid special stress on the various schemes for the girl child and added that we can become a progressive society only when we will create equal opportunities for girls as well as for boys. He also called upon the educated unemployed youth of Rajouri to start looking for other options in addition to Government jobs. He said that present Government is providing great support to the youth who want to run their own enterprises. This he said in addition to providing jobs will also create jobs for more youth. He said that the skill development mission of the Government of India has been designed to build the skills of our unemployed youth so that they can run their own business in a more professional and efficient way.
Reacting to the present situation in Kashmir Vibodh said that this is the handy effort of Huriyat and other terrorist forces. He said that their only motive is to disturb the Shri. Amar Nath Ji Yatra. Such forces will never be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs. He said that common man must understand this situation and they need to question the leaders of the organizations like Huriyat about the whereabouts of the kids of these leaders when the kids of poor Kashmiris are dying on the streets of Kashmir. While appreciating the efforts of Government in dealing with such difficult situations Vibodh said that recent reactions favouring the stand of Indian Government in Kashmir from the International Community is a huge achievement of Modi Government. He said that our Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi has worked tirelessly with the Governments of various countries and this has resulted in building a positive image for the Government of India as far as Kashmir issue is concerned. Now all the global leaders have started understanding the real issues in Kashmir and this is the only reason that they have started supporting India on this. District Gen. Secretary BJP Bodh Raj also addressed the party workers and called upon everyone to speak in one voice against terrorism. Party Gen. Secretaries Atam Prakash Gupta and Darbar Choudhary also highlighted the achievements of the present Government in various fields. They stressed that the developmental momentum built by present State and Central Governments will reach to its logical conclusion only when there will be peace and harmony in the state. Other prominent leaders present in this one day convention included Mandal Pardhan Ranjeet Tara, Kewal Sharma, Balbir Sharma and Bau Ram Sharma. Latter the leaders passed a resolution appealing everyone in the state of Jammu & Kashmir to maintain peace and harmony so that state can march ahead on the path of development.
