Jammu East Mandal held a programme in connection with the celebration of Sampuran Diwas at Purani Mandi office.Jammu East MLA Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion and the other prominent leaders who attended the function included the Seh Prabhari of Jammu Distt. Anuradha Singh Charak,Distt.General Secretary and Prabhari of Jammu East Viney Gupta and state working committee member Shiv Kumar Gupta, Subhash Gupta and Naresh Pardhan.
The programme started with the Shanti Path in memory of the martyrs of the Sunjwan terrorist attack after the lighting of the traditional lamp and floral tributes were also paid to Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion paid rich tributes to the valour of the armed forces who laid down their lives while fighting the terrorists from across the border.Rajesh Gupta said that today on the occasion of Sampuran Diwas we are paying our tributes to Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhyaya .
Anuradha Singh Charak talked about the ideology of Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhaya and exhorted the cadres of Jammu East to fully imbibe his teachings. Viney Gupta while addressing the gathering said that the BJP is scaling new and new heights due to the sound ideological platform laid by men like Shri Deen Dayal Upadhaya.
The prominents who attended the function included Gopal Gupta, P.C.Gupta, Rajinder Gupta, Suresh Bharti, Shashi Sapolia, Amit Khanna,Chandan Gupta, Chaman Lal, Jaspal,Surinder Anand, Anil Masoom,Raju Sethi,Sd.Gurchran Singh and Vinod.
Stage was conducted by General Secretary of Jammu East Mandal Rajesh Gupta and vote of thanks was proposed by General Secretary Arun Sethi.
