Jammu East Mandal of the BJP organised a function on the eve of the birth anniversary of Baba Sahib Bhim Raj Ambedkar.The programme was organised as part of the nationwide celebration of the birth anniversary as ”Samrasta Divas”.
The leaders who participated in the function included Ashok Khajuria MLC,Rajesh Gupta MLA, Yudhveer Sethi,Bansi Lal Bharti,Sunil Dogra, Baldev singh biloria and Prof.Shyam.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Ambedkar is our inspiration and it is – due to his efforts that India could have one of the finest constitutions in the world.
Ashok Khajuria said that it is due to the genius of Baba Saheb that the roots of parliamentary democracy could firmly be established in our country.
Senior leader Yudhveer Sethi while speaking on the ocassion said that BJP would take the message of the Baba Saheb to the grassroot levels and create consciousness amongst the younger generations about the profound impact of Baba Saheb on national integration.
Senior leader Bansi Lal Bharti while speaking on the ocassion said that Jammu represents the real ethos of Baba Saheb of unity in diversity.
