Condemning militant attack on SSB Convoy this evening in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today lambasted Pakistan for not keeping check on terrorist activities and disrupting the peace into the Indian Territory.
“Attack is unfortunate and we condemn it,” Dr Singh here said.
Paying tributes to the SSB jawan martyred in the militant strike in Zakura area on Srinagar outskirts, Dr Singh also expressed sympathises with the family of the martyr.
He however, lashed out at Pakistan and said, “Pakistan after surgical strike in PoK by Indian Army has lost its mind.”
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Pakistan is desperate and out of frustration, the neighbour is pushing terrorists into our territory, adding, “some inimical forces are working at the behest of Pakistan in the Kashmir Valley but actions are being taken against them.”
Pakistan will never succeed in its nefarious designs, Dr Singh said and added, “our forces are alert and geared up to give befitting reply to the enemy.”
A jawan of paramilitary force SSB was killed and 8 others, including a policeman, were injured tonight when militants attacked security convoy in Zakura area on the outskirts of Srinagar.
Militants fired at the vehicles of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) which were ferrying the personnel to their camp after performing law and order duties in the city.
