Member of Parliament & former State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, former ministers Sukhnandan Kumar and Priya Sethi, Pahari Board Vice Chairperson Kuldeep Raj Gupta, MLC Vibodh Gupta and other leaders addressed a massive public gathering at Rajouri under party’s “Sushasan Vikas Sankalp Rallies” being organized to highlight the achievements of the Central and the State governments. The rally was organized by Rajouri District President Dinesh Sharma.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that Narendra Modi led government at the centre has launched many schemes for the welfare of the masses and initiating many developmental Projects with a motive of bringing in prosperity and progress. Be it Beti Bachao beti Padao or Atal Pension Yojana or Mudra Bank, these have been designed with a mission of reaching the poor, needy and women for their economic upliftment. “NDA is also concerned for border people, farmers, youth and enhancement in the honorarium of SPOs, PM Fasal Bima Yojna are the gifts in this direction”, Jugal said and expressed hope that the people will avail the benefits and educate others also about these schemes and development projects.
Sukhnandan Kumar, while appealing the people to avail benefits of Ladli Beti scheme, said that the BJP, while sharing power with PDP in the previous government, treated all the regions and sections equal and worked on the principle of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and the people themselves have seen the developmental activities undertaken during ten months rule of our coalition.
Priya Sethi said that during her tenure as MoS Education, every effort was made that the government schools are well equipped with required infrastructure and the students belonging to poor and far flung areas get quality education. She said that the Cenral government also gifted IIT, IIM for higher education of our students and it is hoped that the state will touch new heights in education sectors in coming days.
Kuldeep Raj Gupta highlighted the programmes and schemes of Pahari Board and appealed the people to get themselves acquainted with details and help the needy ones to get benefits. He also spoke on the concern of the state government for SCs, STs and other weaker sections of the society.
Vibodh Gupta said that while the state government has launched a number of developmental works in Rajouri, the Central government too has given projects like four laning of roads and extending rail link to twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch. He also appreciated the Amnesty scheme for the electricity consumers and assured for working for mitigating the problems of the people of Rajouri.
The rally was also addressed by Ch. Talib Hussain, Th. Puran Singh, Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Anju Sharma, Lali Baba, Rajinder Gupta, and Sarpanches and Panches.
