Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with former Minister & MLA Sukhnandan Kumar and Jammu Rural District President Omi Khajuria, inaugurated the newly constructed lanes and drains in Marh in presence of a large number of local residents and officials of Rural Development Department. These lanes and drains have been constructed under MPLAD.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing a gathering of the people of Marh, said that after being elected as MP, he himself has been visiting each and every area in each assembly constituency to directly interact with the people as well as party activists to have assessment of the needs and requirements and every step is being taken to ensure that more and more developmental works are initiated for the convenience of the people.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the Narendra Modi led NDA government has launched a number of welfare schemes for the rural and border areas, with special stress on farmers and the people should avail their benefits. He said that the opposition parties have been left issue less and their only routine exercise now is to criticize the governments at the centre and in the state but the people are well informed these days, who cannot be misled.
Sukhnandan Kumar expressed gratitude to the MP for getting the development works undertaken in his assembly constituency and assured that he himself will also educate the people about the people friendly schemes of Modi government.
Besides Tehsildar and BDO, BJP activists Vikas Choudhary, B.D. Sharma, Ganesh Kumar also attended the inaugural ceremony.
