BJP State Working Committee Meeting on Sunday:Balbir
BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, through an official handout, informed that one day meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party is going to be held on Sunday, the June 19, at party’s new State Office in Trikuta Nagar. He said that the day long meeting which will be spread over a number of sessions, is going to be attended by the members of the State Working Committee from all the three regions of the state.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that the meeting is going to be held under the leadership of State President & MLA Sat Sharma CA and it is expected that BJP National Vice-President Avinash Rai Khanna, National General Secretary (organization) Ram Lal and National General Secretary Ram Madhav will be reaching Jammu to address different sessions of this meeting.
“The party has a healthy tradition of holding meeting of State Working Committee every three months, which is held after the similar meeting at national level and it is then followed by meetings of District and Mandal Working Committees”, Balbir said and added that assembling together after a fixed period not only provides an opportunity to meet each other but more importantly it gives a chance to discuss political scenario at a plate form besides receiving ground feedback about public response towards the party’s programmes and policies. The party also chalks out its future strategy in such meetings to further strengthen the organization and get more associated with the public, he said.
