Kids Planet Public School Akhnoor celebrated Annual Day Function’ with gusto and gaiety. Mr. Daljit Singh Chib, Vice-Chairman of Kisan Advisory Board (J&K) was Chief Guest and Mr. Pushpinder Singh, SHO Akhnoor was guest of honour for the ceremony.
The program began with the lighting of lamp as a tribute to Goddess Sarasvati in presence of Mr. Daljit Singh Chib, Mr.Pushpinder Singh, Directors Mrs. & Mr. Mohan Lal Gupta, Chairperson Mr. Rohit Gupta, Principal Mr. Mona Gupta and Vice-Principal Mrs. Rita Manhas. The annual report was presented by Principal Mrs. Mona Gupta where she proudly announced the achievements of the students during the session 2015-16. She also put light on the curricular and teaching methodology of the school.
Ganesh Vandana was performed by the senior students as a symbol of love & respect among the lord Ganesha. A classical dance was very well performed by the girls of class 3rd which was appreciate by all. Thereafter a theme based story was performed by the students. It was a story of Kashmiri couple who lost everything due to terrorism. The story ended with a message of “Live and Let Live”.
A special musical performance with a theme “God is One” was gracefully presented by class 2nd students which left every one spell bound. A mesmerizing performance based on different dance form like contemporary, classical and western was the attraction of the function which was very much appreciated by the audience. A Dogri dance was also performed on the occasion. At last the value of physical fitness was showcased by an aerobic item which was performed in an innovative manner by the students.
The students of Primary wing were felicitated for numbers of competitions held during the session by the Chief Guest Mr. Daljit Singh Chib, Guest of Honour Mr. Pushpinder Singh, Chairperson Mr. Rohit Gupta and Principal Mrs. Mona Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Daljit Singh Chib appreciated the performances of students as well as the efforts of school for organizing such events to motivate the students. He congratulated the school for completing one more successful year.
Mr. Pushpinder Sing, SHO Akhnoor was mesmerized with the performances of little KPEANS. He expressed his regards for the parents of the students for their right decision of keeping their wards in this school. He was glad to be the part of such wonderful function.
The function was organized by the Senior Primary Coordinator Mrs. Arti Nagpal. Thereafter the vote of thanks was presented by Ms. Diksha Sharma. The other dignitaries who witness the program were Mrs. Rita Manhas, Mrs. Madhu Mishra, Ms. Ekta Vaid, Mrs. Natasha Langer & Mrs. Gunjan Sapolia.
