MLA Jammu East and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta started the work of deep drain near Mahalakhshmi Mandir Pacca Danga in Ward No 4 and also started the work of the construction of water tank near Municipal Park Pacca Danga in Ward No 10.
The estimated cost of the work is rupees 6.5.lakhs.The JMC officials who accompanied the MLA included AEE Anil Gupta and JE Mohd.Yaseen.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that the model of development given by our Prime Minister Shri Narinder Bhai Modi Ji of sab ka saath sab ka vikaas is being hailed and acknowledged all across the country and the results of the recent elections are a testimony to that.The footprints of BJP in the North East states are a very positive sign for the country.He said that this victory gives us renewed vigour to rededicate ourselves to the task of nation building and in particular the Jammu east constituency.Rajesh Gupta urged the party workers to fan out in all the wards of the constituency and ensure that all the developmental schemes launched by the government are being impimented in letter and spirit.
