“There is more in the world than just to live and serving the society with a generous heart”, this was stated by the BJP National Vice-President, National Vice- Chairperson Indian Red Cross Society & Incharge J&K Affairs Avinash Rai Khanna who was in the state in connection with the election of new CEC, Ladakh. He was speaking on the sidelines of the function organized in the BJP state headquarter, Trikuta Nagar where he along with BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, Minister for Health Bali Bhagat, Minister for PHE Sham Choudhary, MLC Vikram Randhawa, and other senior leaders felicitated former State President & MLC Ashok Khajuria and MLA Rajiv Jasrotia for being rewarded as the best legislators.
Avinash Rai Khanna, while speaking on the occasion appreciated the effort of the felicitated BJP leaders and said that this outstanding performance is the testimony to the selfless working of the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. He said that BJP doesn’t stand for a party but for a strong urge to serve the humanity. He said that this is just not the token of respect for the two leaders but as the testimony to the strong ideals of the party which are upheld in very high esteem by all the party workers. He claimed that the humbleness and softness are the two virtues of true power citing the examples of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Amit Shah. He further prompted them to work for the grass root level empowerment of common masses.
Sat Sharma also wished both and said that these leaders have taken forward the cause initiated by the likes of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay and Dr. Shyama Parsad Mookherjee. Sharma said that these leaders stand as the role model for the rest of legislatures and this stands as particularly a moment of joy for the party as its two representatives have set an paradigm of exemplary work in the Assembly.
Ashok Kaul, Bali Bhagat, Sham Choudhary were among the other prominent leaders who spoke on the occasion.
Ashok Khajuria and Rajiv Jasrotia also thanked the party leaders for their generosity and stressed that they will continue to serve the party and the public in the selfless manner in the times to come.
