On the eve of 350th Parkashotasav of Guru Gobind Singh Jee the Shalimar Traders Association organised a langar at Shalimar Road where the chief guest was MLA Jammu east Rajesh Gupta.
Rajesh Gupta opened the langar for the devotees and gave best wishes of Gurupurav to the members of the Shalamar Association.
The MLA was accompanied by Shalimar Traders Association Chairman Pradeep Sharma,Daljeet Singh,Satish Gupta,Raju Sethi & was also accompanied by BJP leaders Rajinder Gupta, Chamanlal,Kuldeep Bagotra,Kuuldeep Kandhari, Amit Gupta and Rajesh Nischal.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraj was a saviour of mankind who was sent on the earth to spread the message of peace,brotherhood and equality amongst the people.Rajesh Gupta said that Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraj was saint soldier and a philosopher and social reformer who spread the message of righteousness and lived by example.He sacrificed everything for his people and thats why we also call him “sarv vansh dani”.The nation is in debt of the Guru Mahraj for his supreme sacrifice as we celebrate his 350th Prakashotsav.
