Pakistan stands exposed before world: Prof Virender

BJP State Spokesperson Prof. Virender Gupta, while expressing his serious concern and shock on fidayeens’ attack on army base at Uri in which 18 soldiers were killed and 22 wounded, expressed that Govt. of India should initiate multiprong strategy against Pakistan apart from giving befitting army response at the appropriate time at a place of Indian army’s choice. While elaborating, the Spokesperson said that the other options are Isolating Pakistan and getting enforced sanctions against it by International Community; Isolating it among the SAARC nations; excluding it from the list of preferred nations; exposing Pakistan before the world community and getting it declared as terrorist state; Exposing Pakistan for Human Rights violations in PoJK, including Gilgit, Baltistan and in Balochistan; snapping diplomatic ties with Pakistan and supporting the cause of Balochistan, North West Frontier and Sindh Province.

Prof. Virender appreciated that Govt. of India has taken serious note of the attack on Uri and made up its mind to start an hybrid strategy as pointed above. He said worldwide condemnation of the Pakistan sponsored fidayeens’ attack in Uri has isolated Pakistan and this event has provided an opportunity for India to be aggressive on Pakistan on all fronts. He said that this is a good signal that the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, France, US, UK, China, Afganistan and Russia have condemned the terrorist attack and expressed their solidarity with India. He added that France has asked for decisive action against the terrorist groups, particularly Lashkar-e-Toiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad and Hizbul Mujahideen, whereas Russia stopped joint army exercise in PoK and also stopped exporting its fighter plans to Pakistan.
