BJP State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria, alongwith State General Secretary Harinder Gupta, while chairing a meeting of State Committee Members and District Incharges for the scheduled “Jan Sampark Yatra”, discussed various steps for the smooth conduct of the same. The party leaders in the meeting also put forth their suggestions to make the yatra more effective and result oriented.
Pawan Khajuria, while speaking in the meeting, said that the party at the national level has chalked out a series of programmes to be organized during Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay Birth Centenary Year and the same are also being undertaken in the entire length and breadth of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that “Jan Sampark Yatra” is one such programme, which will be organized from February 15 to March 5. He said that the party has decided to undertake “Jan Sampark Yatra” at constituency level to reach the people, take stock of the ground problems and highlight the achievements of the Narendra Modi led government at the centre and BJP coalition in the state.
Pawan Khajuria said that the philosophy of BJP is based on “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas” and whatever decision is taken or welfare scheme launched by its government is designed keeping in mind the welfare of every section of the society. He asked the District Incharges to ensure that the yatra is undertaken smoothly in their respective areas.
The meeting was attended by State Committee Members Sanjay Baru, Vikram Randhawa and Naresh Dogra and District Incharges K.L. Sharma, Jagdish Bhagat, Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Swami Raj Sharma, Bharat Sharma, Sanjeev Sharma, Capt. Khalil, Vijay Saini, Ramesh Sharma, Asif Chowdhary, Narsingh Dayal, Adv. Amit Sharma, Lalit Sharma and Makhan Lal Bhat.
