BJP State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria, during his two days extensive tour of Karimchi Mandal of Udhampur assembly constituency, visited different villages, interacted with the local people and took stock of the problems being faced by them.
During his visit to Tirshi and Narore villages, Pawan Khajuria was apprised of the problems related to water, electricity, ration and installation of transformers. The villagers told that during the last one and half year, ration was supplied just two times and wanted regular supply of ration, electricity and drinking water. They also briefed the leader about the problem related to irrigation.
Pawan Khajuria immediately took up the grievances of the people with the senior officials of PHE, PDD and CAPD and sought early redressal of the same
Meanwhile, Pawan Khajuria took up the matter related to installation of new transformers with the Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, who assured to provide funds from MPLAD for transformers for the convenience of the people.
Pawan Khajuria, while speaking with the people, said that the state’s PDP-BJP coalition government has initiated a number of developmental activities and welfare schemes and the party activists have been reaching the masses to educate them to avail the benefits of the same. He said that the problems narrated by the people are being taken seriously and every effort will be made that no one is deprived of basic amenities. He also discussed the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government and added that providing electricity to every village by 2018 is the mission of Prime Minister.
