Peace, and development of State depends upon youth participation: Dr. Gagan Bhagat

On Thursday group of students from the troubled Kashmir Valley toured the “Suchetgarh Border” on the request of M.L.A R.S Pura Dr.Gagan Bhagat .As from the last more than one month the valley has witnessed complete shutdown ,people are out of their houses and are protesting against the security forces ,raising anti-national slogans ,waiving Pakistani flags, and the complete situation compelled the Upper house to hold a debate on this issue which has worried not only the people of Jammu and Leh but from the whole country has been questioning why the youths is playing into the hands of separatists ,communal forces and non-state actors. M.L.A R.S Pura Dr.Gagan Bhagat took an initiative and with the help of M.L.A from Wachi assembly constituency of the Kashmir valley Aijaz Wani contacted a group of college going youths and invited them to visit R.S Pura and have an interactive session and spent time with them, which could change the mindset of at least some youths. While talking to the Media persons Dr.Gagan Bhagat said that Kashmir is ours and why should we the people from R.S Pura and Jammu be silent and watch this situation which has occurred not within a span of one year ,but due to the wrong policies of the political groups which has ruled the state and the country for more than six decades. The youths of the valley are forced to indulge in anti-national activities and misguided by the separatists and other people who want that Jammu & Kashmir be converted into a trouble state, so that the nefarious designs of the neighboring country is turned into reality. Common man in Kashmir want to live with peace and dignity, the people from the other parts of the country wanted to visit Kashmir ,the tourist data of the state certify that Jammu & Kashmir has recorded best ever inflow of tourist and tourism in this state in the year when Bhartiya Janta Party took over the government in coalition with PDP in 2015-16, the roadmap was prepared for the fastest ever development and other activities with the help of the Union government ,the Rupees 80,000 Crore package that was announced by the Prime Minister Narender Modi has started working on the ground and the results that were coming from the valley were very encouraging especially from the aspect of females and youths. To defuse the present situation a collective effort is required rising above the party politics everyone who wants the welfare of the state and its citizens should boldly come out and contribute, not only through the media but on ground ,then only the Paradise on earth will again be the same as was before .In this regard he has himself taken initiative and invited these students from the valley so that atleast something positive happen in this context. While visiting the border at Suchetgarh a group of Pakistani tourist who had came there to visit the Indo-Pak border, a small interaction took place in which Dr.Gagan Bhagat shared his views with them and hoped that the message which started from the R.S Pura reaches other side of the fence and the real sentiments of the people from this side of border reaches to the people on the other side, on the occasion when the whole country is celebrating the 70th year of its Independence a much needed peace between both the neighboring countries should flourish for the development of the whole continent. Dr.Gagan Bhagat also gave the message of “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” of the Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi to them especially to the females of the group who were the part of the tourist who visited the R.S Pura Border on Thursday, who also assured Dr.Gagan that they will surely tell the people on the other side about the message of the Prime minister and the warm reception given to them from the Indian side and especially from the people residing on the R.S Pura International border.
