Minister of education and tourism Priya Sethi today visited Rajeev Colony area in Vikram Chowk area and fulfilling the long pending demand of it’s inhabitants by inaugurating a lane in ward no.19 in Jammu east constituency.
The minister during her tour took stock of various works in the locality and directed the concerned authorities to complete all pending work within the stipulated period of time. She also visited many houses of people belonging to downtrodden section of society in the locality and assured them that their government will provide all possible help to improve their living conditions. She also said that their government is committed to provide all sanitary facilities to its masses and directed municipal authorities to fulfill the all pending demands of the locality falling in its domain.
While speaking on the ocassion, the senior citizens of the locality hailed the efforts of the minister and her concern in mitigating the sufferings of downtrodden section of the society. They said by inaugurating a lane in the area has fulfilled the long pending demand of locality. They further said that such works related to welfare of masses could be seen as step ahead of good governance and development.
