On the ocassion MLA distributed old age pension and widow pension cheques amongst the needy.NFBS widow pension scheme cheques were also distributed on the occasion.
The convenor of Beti Bachao Beto Padao scheme Sh.S.S.Bijral highlighted the salient features of the initiative launched by the central government and exhorted the people to give the highest possible care and education to the girl child.
