Jammu east MLA and Chief Whip of BJP in the assembly Rajesh Gupta kick starts the work of laying of lanes and drains at ward no.4.
The number of lanes where the work is being undertaken is 8 in number and the estimated cost of the work is rupees 39 lakhs. The JMC officials who accompanied the MLA included R.K.Koul JE and Satyam.
On the ocassion leaders of various associations were also present to greet the MLA. President of the Raj Tilak Road Association Ramesh Gupta, Upper Moti Bazaar Association President Krishan Kapoor and Kaali Jani Trader Wefare Society leader’s Sawhney,Vikram and Shuna.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that Jammu east is hub of trading activities and has the maximum footfall. We have ensured that all those visiting these areas are given all the facilities. Parking problem continues to create difficulties for the people of the area and also the visitors and the proposed parking projects are in an advanced stage of execution. The Uri attack on our soldiers is a challenge and our country will give a befitting response. Nobody can challenge the unity and integrity of our country and we will preserve it at all costs.
