Jammu East MLA Rajesh Gupta started the civil work of laying of tiles at Rajinder Nagar Ward no.19 at a cost of rupees 3 lakhs.
The MLA was accompanied by JMC officials Sanjay Raina,JE and supervisor Davinder Singh and also accompanied by senior BJP leaders Shiv Kumar Gupta,Ramesh Sharma,Prof Shyam,Gulshan Mahajan,Rajkumar, Rajesh Dogra,Vinod,Sunil Gupta,Lalli, Brij Lal,Maandevi,Swaran Singh,Suraj Prakash,Girdhari Lal,Vageesh Bharti,Rajinder Gupta,Amit Gupta,Rajesh Nischal,Anil Sharma and Ravi Singh.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that Jammu is going to witness a rapid growth in the days to come.The recent launch of IIT and IIM would have a transformational effect on the overall developmental scenario of Jammu.AIIMS already stands sanctioned for Jammu and once all these institutions start functioning Jammu would give the look of a modern city. A few years from now nobody could have dreamt that such institutions would come up in Jammu.
