Chairman of National Sikh Front S.Varinderjeet Singh has welcomed the decision of State BJP, BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), Speaker JK Legislative Assembly and State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul for granting Rs. 50.00 lakhs in favour of Chair of Guru Gobind Singh ji in Jammu University and permission for statue of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur at Kunjwani Chowk. This proof of BJP’s work that BJP does what it says.
- Varinder Jeet Singh said that Sikh Community had a very old demand for installing statue of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur at Kunjwani Chowk, but former Congress MLA and Minister wanted to install statue of Rajeev Gandhi. He thanked BJP and MLC Gandhi Nagar for fulfilling its promise. BJP does what it says.
Chairman said that National Sikh Front demanded statue of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur firstly and this demand was supported by other sikh organizations and Rajput Organizations. We thank all these organizations especially Manhas Rajput Sabha. He said that on the eve of 350th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, this is a gift by BJP to all the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
