BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), chaired a series of meetings at Trikuta Nagar office on Monday. He met with the members of Kashmir Committee, deputation of Kashmir Employees, State Spokespersons, State General Secretaries and party senior leaders.
While chairing a meeting alongwith MLC Ashok Khajuria and attended by State General Secretaries Pawan Khajuria and Dr. Narinder Singh, MLCs Adv. Ramesh Arora and Surinder Ambardar, Sat Sharma reviewed the present situation in the valley, the conduct of the ongoing Amarnath Yatra and the issue related to the migration of Kashmir employees in the backdrop of turmoil in Kashmir. During his meeting with the deputation of Kashmir Employees, he alongwith State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria listened to their grievances and assured them of party’s support and cooperation.
In the meeting held with State Spokespersons, the State President discussed the various issues and the view point of the party on them.
Sat Sharma, while discussing the present situation in Kashmir and the ongoing Yatra, said that the party is continuously in touch with the BJP leaders in Kashmir as well as the administration and every effort is being made to extend cooperation in restoring peace and normalcy in the valley besides ensuring the smooth conduct of the holy yatra of Shri Amarnath. He said that the BJP ministers in the coalition government in the state are also regularly reviewing the arrangements related to the yatra.
Sat Sharma further said that the party is deeply concerned over the migration of the employees from Kashmir and a Kashmir committee of BJP senior leaders is in regular touch with the employees who have migrated from Kashmir due to the turmoil there. He said that the team will prepare a detailed report and the same will be forwarded to the Union government to resolve the problems being faced by them due to their migration.
