To provide better power services in areas of Jammu West, State President BJP & MLA Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated a brand new transformer of 250 KVA installed at Himmat Colony, Talab Tillo falling in Ward no. 32 of Jammu West constituency. Accompanied by PDD officials the transformer was inaugurated in the presence of a large number of people hailing from the area.
The installation of transformer was taken up under the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) Scheme of MLA in which the amount contributed is Rs. 6.00 Lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a long pending demand of the local residetns of the area and installation of this transformer will solve the problem of unscheduled power cuts and relief will be provided to the residents. He stated that problem of fluctuation will also be resolved.
He also said that adjoining areas where there is a need of transformer or where there is problem of electricity supply, works will be taken up and those area will also be covered in coming time. He also directed PDD officials to check adjoining areas and look for pending works so that the same can be taken up soon.
