Sat Sharma kickstarts construction works at Dogra Hall 

Fulfilling the demands of residents of Dogra Hall and adjoining area, State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) kickstarted  construction works at Ward number 8 of Jammu West. Accompanied by a large number of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) officials, Sharma started the works in the presence of a large number of local residents, morning walkers and political activists of the area.

 

The works will be done under the supervision of JMC which includes construction of lanes and drains with new tiles and will cover a long stretch  starting from Petrol Pump to Government Girls Higher Secondary School and the works will be done at an estimated cost of Rupees 8 lakhs.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a pending demand of hundreds of residents of the area as the works done before were out dated and keeping in view the basic amenities, the works had to be done in order to provide best possible infrastructure to the masses by installing paver tiles.

 

He stated that stage works in each and every ward of Jammu West have been completed in many areas of Jammu West and the works remaining in various areas of Jammu West will also be taken up  pertaining to development of lanes and drains so that basic amenities could be provided to the masses at their doorsteps.

 

Sharma also said that the parks in Jammu West will also be facelifted and a lot will be done in the coming days to improve their conditions as well so that morning walkers and people who come their everyday to spend their leisure time can find a good environment there.

 

Sharma also appealed the masses to keep the surroundings  neat and clean and also contribute in keeping the aura clean around themselves in order to fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build a clean and green nation under the banner of “SWACH BHARAT”.
