To keep up the pace of work in progress in various spheres of Jammu West Assemebly segment, State President BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) toured Patoli area of Ward Number 39 where the work of laying and rehabilitation of new water pipes is in progress which is being done under the supervision of ERA. Sharma also started the works for Resurfacing of Lane and Drain work in Patoli Magotrian which will be done under the supervision of PWD(R&B) department at an estimated cost of around Rupees 7.50 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that as far as development is concerned after a tenure of one year, Jammu West has reached new heights of development and projects worth hundred of crores are already in progress in various spheres of the Constituency.
He said alone the project of changing water pipes is worth 72.98 crores which will replace old pipes with new ones and masses will avail fresh and clean drinking water. He stated that as far as roads are concerned, the work on main roads of the Constituency has been completed and in the coming days, the works on other roads of the Constituency will also start in order to provide best infrastructure to the masses.
He also stated that power scenario of the Constituency has also improved a lot than before and many areas have been provided with brand new transformers so that problems of electricity cuts and low voltage could be solved.
