Sat starts garbage collection system from Bakshi Nagar to improve Sanitation in Jammu West

In order to improve the sanitation system of Jammu West Assembly segment, State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) started door to door garbage collection system from Bakshi Nagar area of Ward Number 27. Hailing the initiative taken by JMC(Jammu Municipal Corporation) as historical, Sharma started the service in presence of Joint Commissioner JMC RS Jamwal, JMC officials, local residents of the area and political activists.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that on test run basis four garbage collectors in the form of tricycles have been deployed in Bakshi Nagar area which will go door to door in every locality of the area and will collect garbage from each and every household on daily basis.
He said that it was a dire requirement in the area as there were no garbage containers in the area due to which the masses suffered a lot with concern to disposal of garbage from their households.
He stated that in the coming days such type of system will be started in other wards of Jammu West too so that the sanitation level could be brought back to normal and cleanliness must prevail in every nook and corner of the Constituency.
He also appealed the masses as well to contribute for the betterment of the society and help in promoting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build a clean and green nation.
The residents of the area also thanked the MLA for starting the service and catering with the needs of the common man.
Health Officer JMC Dr Zaffer Iqbal, District President BJP Ayodhya Gupta, Karan Sat Sharma, Jeet Angral, Prem Gupta, Tripta Jamwal, Raju Sharma, Suresh Gupta, Manpreet, Swami Ji, Dr Malhotra, Naresh Thapper, Vikas, Atul Bakshi, Abhishek Jamwal, Sanjeev and several others were also present on the occasion.
