BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), alongwith State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, Kissan Board Vice-Chairperson Daljeet Singh Chib, local MLA Dr. Krishan Lal Bhagat and officials of local administration, visited Khour Higher Secondary School, Radha Swami Ashram Khour, Pallanwala, Platan, Panjtoot, Panyali and Sailanwali areas falling in Khour Block and met the families who have migrated from border and are putting up in camps.
Sat Sharma and other leaders took stock of the facilities being provided to these border migrants and also sought details related to their numbers and stressed upon the officials accompanying him to ensure round the clock security around their temporary camps and also provision of essential commodities, particularly ration, drinking water and health care facilities.
Sat Sharma, while speaking to the gatherings of these migrants at mentioned places, said that the BJP fully stands with them and the entire country is worried for their safety and security. He said that the party is in regular touch with the government at the Centre and in the state and both are working round the clock to ensure that the people who have migrated to camps and other places are not made to feel isolated or alone. He assured these people that Indian army and security forces are strong enough to give befitting reply to Pakistan and the present Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre is committed to defeat the neighbouring country’s designs and hence they need not to worry of their security.
SDM Davinderpal Singh, Tehsildar Khour Rampal Sharma, Naib Tehsildar Khour, SHO Ravinder Singh Rakwal and BJP leaders Suraj Singh, Manmohan Singh, Jagdish Bhagat and others also accompanied the BJP State President.
