Free medical camps are aimed at helping poor, needy: Sh. Yudhvir Sethi
Member Parliament Shamsher Singh Manhas said trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe for which we as responsible citizens must come forward and make out city as green as we can.
He was speaking after inaugurating medical cum awareness camp at Ranbir Higher Secondary School where massive plantation drive was also carried out by involving students. The medical camp was organised by Arogya Foundation of India where MP Shamsher Singh Manhas and BJP Vice President Yudhvir Sethi were special invitees. Shamsher Singh Manhas said this medical camp has been organized with the aim of free check up and free treatment.
When people and especially poor do not get free treatment or subsidy for treatment they stop follow up. While organizing health camps follow up becomes one of the important ingredient in quality health camps, he said adding that Yudhvir Sethi had been organizing such camps into ensure that medical aid reaches poorest of poor. He added that more such camps must be organized for welfare of people.
Yudhvir Sethi after inauguration of medical camp inaugurated the medical planted plants and distributed abut 200 saplings to the students. In the medical camp students and staff of Ranbir Higher Secondary School were also examined by doctors treated and provided with free medicines. Bone marrow density test were also conducted on the spot.
Yudhvir Sethi in his address said that protection of environment is a much and simultaneously we must also work towards prevention of diseases. He said that Prevention is better than cure. More than being just simple proverbs that we learnt in school, in all likelihood, there must have been times in our adult life, when we realized the profundity of these simple one-liners.
He asserted that in some way or the other, we all must been through situations that reminded us of the importance of prevention and how our habit of procrastination had cost us dear. And if it’s about our health and when we are sick, it really hits us hard – we feel bad. This is where the relevance of preventive health care comes in. The function was presided by Dr Mukul Bhatia nation coordinator Arogya foundation.
BJP he said intends to reach each and every individual when it comes to providing medical care to deserving people. Awareness and preventive education was given by Arogya sate convener dr.bias and Arogya adviser Dr. Vikrant and Dr. Kalash also entire programe was organized under supervision of state Arogaya President Dr. VIkas Sharma, Organizing Secretary Chander Manhas, Secretary & Media Incharge Arogya Ashish Sareen.
