M.L.A R.S Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat on Monday kick-started several developmental works in R.S Pura Constituency .At Village Banota black-topping work was started ,a function was organized at Basti Banota ,after the function Dr.Gagan Bhagat started the blacktopping near BSNL Exchange Gurdeep Vihar R.S Pura, .The Black Topping work of the said road was the longest pending demand of the locals ,the said road was an important connecting link between the R.S Pura and border ,it was n dilapidated condition for past several years, and the previous legislators did nothing except assurances. Dr.Gagan Bhagat while addressing the gathering said that , he will surely keep his poll promises ,the total length of the Macadamization of road stretch is about 2 Kilometers ,but was very vital , and in the rainy season it was virtually impossibly to pass through the village , on the demand of other roads of the area Dr.Bhagat said that he will try to get sanctioned thopse roads from the department and the concerned Minister in the coming days as this time the session is going at Srinagar .HJe further added that the developmental works which received a small brake , as the state was under the governor rule since January 9th to 4th April this year .The locals and the prominent persons thanked Dr.Gagan for his efforts , as the said developmental works has been ignored for the last several years, the issue was raised by the local residents of the Village Banota, few months ago with Dr.Gagan, when he was attending a workers meeting of the Bhartiya Janta Party ,and there he assured that he will complete the said work ,and now the work has been started within few months of his assurance this positive change is worth appreciating said Master Parasram, a prominent social worker of the area. While addressing the gathering at CHC R.S Pura , in an another function organized by the Health department, where Dr.Gagan provided Ambulance under the B.A.D.P fund ,while addressing the Doctors, and the paramedics M.L.A Dr.Gagan said that the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh.Narender Modi is committed to provide all basic amenities to the people especially to the people of the rural area including Health,drinking water, road connectivity, electricity, better drainage system and education, and the Union government has been providing liberal funding which is separate from the Rs.80,000 Crores Special P.M Package to the State. Later on he also assured the gathering of Refugees at Railway Line Gagian, and with the West Pakistaan Refugees at Village Jindlehar, he assured them that the Union government will surely look into the their matter sympathetically and for the P{oJK Refugees he said soon they will get the money as assured them by out Union govt.. He sought cooperation from the people in implementing the development programs on ground level. Later on Dr.Gagan Bhagat also visited Village Salehar and inaugurated a Lane & Drain , which was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 8.00 Lakhs. Responding to demands and problems of the local residents , Dr.Bhagat assured them that all their issues would be addressed in a phased manner, and the issue on the top priority which was the construction of a Indoor Sports Hall at Village Level, so that the youths who are caught in the net of Drugs ,may be motivated, and this Indoor sports Hall at the village level will solve this purpose. He also assured the gathering that during the execution of works special emphasis will be laid on the quality of the work and while talking to the villagers he assured that replacement of wires and damaged poles under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Jyoti Yojna will be soon taken up.The prominent persons who accompanied the Legislator included X.E.N(P.W.D) R.S Pura,BJP Distt.President Brijesh Rana,Mandal R.S Pura President Natharam, City President Inder Sudan ,BJP Youth President Akash Chopra,Chranjeet,Dr.P.P Singh,S.Onkar Singh Rajesh Babbu,& others .
