Sh. Ramesh Arora visited Ladakh for three days

MLC Ramesh Arora Chairman Department related standing committee (DRSC-IV) visited Ladakh for three days along with MLC G. N. Monga and MLC Ali Mohd Dar members of DRSC-IV committee and visited various places in Ladakh during their tour they visited Drass where they met with local people and officials . A meeting was also conducted at Drass which is the coldest station in the world where temperature falls upto Minus 60 Celsius and it also remained main point of Kargil war where tiger hill and other are located and listen to their problems after that they visited Kargil where District commissioner and other officials met them . MLC Ramesh Arora along with other MLC’s also visited district hospital Kargil and they interacted with the locals and staff of the hospital there were many demand put forth by the locals such as need of critical care ambulance and shortage of staff in the district hospital including one important was placed before committee that no state fund is provided to them except little fund from the Development council MLC’s assured them all their genuine demand will be addressed. After that they visited Cold Storage plant at Leh and under construction Mandi at Leh which is being constructed by Horticulture department then all the MLC’s visited Grid station and hospital at Leh and took meeting with officials of all departments and discussed various issues related to public of Leh and Kargil. Mr Ramesh Arora suggested that a development plan be surveyed by Irrigation department along with PHE and water of river Sind be utilized in such a manner that plantation can take place upto two kilometer of both side of the river without disturbing main flows of the river. And further said that MRI machine is must for Leh hospital. He met with a lady from UK at hospital who was on tracking tour all alone and due to sudden fall from a height she survived for 18 days without food and on asking her that whether she will continue tracking again she replied boldly that she will continue but somebody must be with her he instructed the concerned doctor and local administration to extend full help to the foreigner lady.
