Continuing with party’s scheduled “Sushasan Vikas Sankalp Rallies” being organized at district and constituency levels to reach the masses with the people-friendly programmes, policies and the developmental activities being initiated by Narendra Modi-led NDA government and State’s PDP-BJP coalition governments, Minister of Health Ch. Lal Singh, MLAs Shakti Parihar and Daleep Singh Parihar addressed a public rally at Doda and highlighted the achievements of both the governments.
Ch. Lal Singh, addressing the gathering, complemented the social fabric of Doda region, which is known for communal harmony and peace and said that peace is imperative for the development of a region. “we are working for providing better services to everyone in ladder of economic development and sort the coordination of the people in achieving success toward this aim”, said Ch. He also announced that in next one to two months 70% of medicines prescribed by the doctors will be available free of cost in all the public health institutions . He further announced that by March this year all the medical tests will be conducted free of cost in all the Government Hospitals. “We are working in a missionary way to provide all the medicines free of cost in Government hospitals by 2017-18” he further said . Negating any proposal of PPP mode in health sector he said that the need is to bring reforms in the present system and assured that he stands with the people of Doda region and will support all the projects which are for their betterment.
MLA Doda Shakti Parihar recounted the various schemes launched by the present government which includes, Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti, Atal Pension Yojana etc. with the motive of welfare of the weaker sections.
MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar also spoke on the occasion and said that the present Government has enhanced the honorarium of SPOs besides various transformers have been provided to the people in load stress areas of the District.
District President Advocate Manjeet Razdan also addressed the gathering and highlighted the local needs of the people.
