Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh participated in the “Bharat Jodo Abhiyaan” in the form of Tiranga Yatra on motor-cycles organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and BJP after flagging it off from the Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Chowk, Jammu along with BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, party chief whip & MLA Rajesh Gupta, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, Prabhari Yuva Morcha & State Secretary Sanjay Baru and State President Yuva Morcha Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra. The rally after passing through various Bazars of the city, culminated in party office, Kachi Chawni.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, while addressing the mammoth rally, appreciated the leaders and activists of Yuva Morcha for their efforts in taking party to new heights, clearly visible in the form of jam-packed Chowk. He said that the Gandhi ji gave a new direction to the Independence struggle in form of “Quit India Movement” in 1942 in famous “August Kranti Maidan”, which resulted in major historic turning points for leading India to Independence from the clutches of Colonial rule of British Empire. He also incited various other events like pressure of Azad Hind Fouz, World War-II and others which forced Lord Mount Batton to press for Indian freedom in British Parliament. He said that the Prime Narendra Modi has appealed for similar tireless work for next 5 years to free India from the clutches of corruption, illiteracy, casteism, communalism, terrorism, malnutrition, unemployment and insanitation by chanting the Mantra of “Sankalp Se Sidhi”.
Dr. Jitendra said that the State of Jammu & Kashmir has seen too much turmoil due to separatism and militancy, and now it is the time to fight for virtues as whole of India is concerned about this State. He said that Dr. Mukherjee gave his life for a great cause and Tiranga will fly high in every situation in every region, in tribute to his and other great men’s sacrifice. He said that opposition parties may try to politicize the things for their petty gains but the fact is that separatism is restricted to just two and half districts of Kashmir. He said that youth below 40 years forms more that 70 percent of total population, that’s why PM Modi has initiated too many schemes for the youth. He said that in the BJP Government, every person irrespective of background can dream of the highest position by his work as proved by the examples of PM, President and Vice-President.
Sat Sharma, speaking on the occasion, expressed gratitude towards Dr. Jitendra for starting his Tiranga Yatra from Jammu, which is being organized all over India by Yuva Morcha. He also appreciated the BJP and Yuva Morcha leaders and activists for contributing in making the atmosphere of the place filled with waves of patriotism. He said that BJP is the only party in India which works with the sole aim of Nationalism in letter and spirit. He asked that we all must take pledge to work for the making of “New India” by working to remove all social evils from the country till 2022 when India will be celebrating 75 years of freedom from British rule. Take these slogans to the common masses, he said.
Rajesh Gupta asked all the leaders and the activists to celebrate the National events as the festivals, to embed the patriotism in our lives. He said that we have to work on the thought of new India by working progressively for taking our Nation to its pristine glory.
Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra said that the National President of Yuva Morcha, Poonam Mahajan gave Tiranga to each one of State Presidents at Vijay Chowk, Delhi for taking this as a message of brotherhood and Nationalism to every block level in India, as Tiranga automatically unifies everyone. He claimed that for the protection of Tiranga, every single Yuva Morcha activist is ready to stake everything including life.
Parmod Kapahi, Chander Mohan Gupta, Ayodhya Gupta, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Karan Sharma, Asheesh Sharma, Hari Om Sharma, Rohit Verma, Jeet Angral, Vijay Sharma, Sunny Sangotra, Tarun Sharma and others were among the prominent BJP and Yuva Morcha leaders present in the rally.
Meanwhile, Tiranga Yatra on two wheelers led by MP Lok Sabha Jugal Kishore Sharma along with Minister Sham Choudhary, MLCs Ramesh Arora and Vikram Randhawa, Brijeshwar Rana, Akash Chopra, Narayan Dutt, Ramesh Saini, Vijay Saini, Raghunandan was also taken out from Bishnah Chowk moving through town which ended at Shaheedi Samarak of Manmohan Sharma, Chak Bana.
