In a meeting of BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha organized at party headquarter and chaired by BJP State General Secretary Harinder Gupta, J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation Limited, Vice-Chairperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, stressed upon the members of the SC community associated with the BJP, to provide quality education to their children and nurture them in such a way that they become self reliant in life. He said that today the SC children are pursing higher academic, technical and profession courses and have proven their intelligence but mere getting degree is not enough and the parents should train them to work for achieving success in life.
Balbir Ram Rattan, while sharing the schemes meant for the benefit of the unemployed males and females belonging to the weaker sections of the society, said that it is the duty of the parents to guide and suggest their children to chose the right stream in education and concentrate on building career which has respect and command.
Harinder Gupta, on this occasion, took stock of the morcha activities at State, District and Mandal levels and advised them to avail the benefits of the schemes run by SC, ST, BC, Development Corporation Limited. He said that dependency makes one lazy, do not result in positive and hence it should be ensured that the children are guided to be self dependence.
Anushchit Jaati Morcha State Incharge, N.D. Rajwal, also asked the morcha leaders to identify the poor and needy from their community and guide them to set up their earning units instead of waiting for government jobs.
