To seek support and intervention of party in redressal of their grievances, a number of deputations called on BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A) and submitted memorandums in presence of MLC Surinder Ambardar and BJP senior leader Yudhvir Sethi.
A deputation of Jammu & Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association led by their State President Dr. Surinder Radotra, through a memorandum, stated that they are a work force of 2642 Agriculture Technocrats, working in Agriculture Production Department of the state since April 2007. They further stated that the State government formulated a regularization policy of Agriculture Technocrats in 2011, under which 880 candidates were to be regularized in three phases in 2014, 2015 and 2016 but only 1st Phase was completed with 881 candidates absorbed and thereafter other two phases has not been followed and the number of such candidates has gone to 1761. They appealed the BJP State President to take up their genuine grievance with the government for a favourable action.
Similarly, a deputation of Shri Martand Tirath Trust, Kashmir, presently Surya Bhawan, Paloura, Jammu,under Trust President and Kashmir Displaced District President T. N. Bhat, submitted a memorandum through which it was appealed to get the Martand Temple premises freed of encroachment. Sat Sharma immediately took up the matter with DC Anantnag and was assured for appropriate action by the District administration.
A similar deputation of teachers, who were engaged on academic arrangements and disengaged after one session, also submitted their memorandum and appealed for taking up their case for continuation.
Sat Sharma and Surinder Ambardar gave patient hearing to these deputations and assured that their grievances will be taken up with concerned authorities adding that the party has always stood and worked for the redressal of the genuine grievances of the people.
BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, party leaders Sanjay Baru and Arvind Gupta were also present on the occasion.
