BJP Foundation Day Celebrated at Thanamandi
“Condemened Statement of Former Chief Minister”
BJP Mandal Thanamandi organized a colourful programme at Thanamandi to celebrate the 37th foundation day of the Party on April 06, 2017. Even in the stormy weather conditions, the commemorative event commenced with the lightening of traditional lamp by MLC Rajouri Vibodh in presence of BJP Mandal President Abdul Ghani Shawl.
Mr. Shawl along with hundreds of party workers welcomed the MLC Gupta, in a simple and impressive function. Mr. Shawl said that the area was deprived from the Development aspects, but now under the rule of Coalition Government, various sectors have been upgraded like roads, Health, Education, PDD, PHE and many more departments are seen working on ground. He also thanked MLC for providing a Transformer of 250 KVA, for Thanamandi Town under his CDF.
Gupta while interacting with the public, firstly extended his wishes to all the party workers and said that the nation had reposed their faith in the party, seeing it as means to fulfill their dreams. Gupta said that a seed that was sown on this day 37 years ago in 1980, has now blossomed now into a soothing and imposing giant tree with strong and firm roots. He said that our strength lies in party’s cadre and it is their contribution which has enabled the party to take lead over all other political parties and reached at a place where it is now ruling the Centre as well a number of States and thus putting Congress at its lowest ebb.
Gupta Said that under the guidance of Narender Bhai Modi,Prime Minister of India, India is determined to achieve new heights of progress, peace and prosperity and dream of “Naya Hindustan” Congress Free-Corruption free, shall come true. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, BJP shall be seen everywhere as in Majority of States, BJP is establishing its Government. Gupta said that J&K being Muslim majority State has adopted the policies of BJP and regained its faith just because of the transparent policies of the Govt. Today we have more than one lakh members in Kashmir valley only and it is the indicator of the change in the mindset of people who have seen Congress and other parties. Gupta said that even in these weather conditions, if People have come here, it clearly indicates their love for the party. He congratulated crores of BJP Karyakartas all over the Nation, who have always served the BJP with admirable vigour & great dedication.
Gupta also lambasted over the statement of Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Former Chief Minister and condemned strongly, his wording regarding the stone pelters, that they are fighting for their Nation. Gupta asked Mr. Abdullah, where was he, when NC ruled the state for 50 years. Gupta said that he (Dr. Abdullah), being Former Chief Minister, MP, should refrain himself form issuing such baseless statements, which derail the youth of the state. He said NC-Congress regime had already destroyed the state unity and PDP-BJP Coalition is trying at all the fronts to bring the state back on track.
Gupta also inaugurated a transformer of 250 KVA provided under his CDF costing to Rs. 5.50 Lacs, for Thanamandi town which shall benefit the public. He assured the gathering that, developmental activities shall never come to end in Thanaamandi town. A grid station shall be established soon, from the 400 KVA lines which is being laid from Jalandhar to Baramulla. Mughal Road Project is the top priority of Govt. and work on the same from Rajouri to Bafliaz shall be started soon. There were days when parties like Congress used to boast that it was the single political party that had the national mandate to run the country but the birth of BJP provided alternate to the people who wanted to get rid of Congress and ensure progress and prosperity of the nation with honesty and no compromise on nation’s integrity and sovereignty and now, Congress is getting wiped out from the country due to its scams and wrong policies, he added.He appealed the Party workers to stay in touch with the public and Govt. as BJP is a party based on ideologies with the fundamental objective to serve the nation and social service is the first responsibility of BJP workers. Gupta said that Modi led Government at Centre and PDP-BJP coalition in the State is committed to weed out corruption, nepotism and misrule form public life and work for betterment and upliftment of common masses.
