Call upon everyone to take pride in being a Indian
Amidst massive cheer from the students and prominent citizens MLC Vibodh Gupta today unfurled the tricolour at Government Higher Secondary School Dangri. 67th Republic day was celebrated at Government Higher Secondary School Dangri with patriotic fervour and zeal. After flag hosting ceremony Vibodh also witnessed prade and colourful cultural programmeas chief guest. About 2000 students drawn from various educational institutions of the area participated in the programme to mark the celebration of Republic day. Upon his arrival at school he was accorded a warm welcome by the school management and students.
Addressing the gathering MLC said that under the able and dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sh. Narinder Modi, India is emerging as a super power and today the global leaders have also recognised India as a major power. He said that every one of us should always take pride in being a Indian and as citizens of worlds largest democracy. He gave a detailed overview of various recent Government inititiatives like Pardhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna, Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan, Ladli Beti and Asra and called upon everyone to create awareness about these schemes of the Government so that a common citizen can become part of these welfare schemes. He said that we must be sincere, honest and loyal to our country and citited an example of the family of our PM who still lives in the same old house at Gujrat. We need to draw lessons from these examples and we all should work togather so that our country moves forward and emerges as a super power. He said that with a very strong and dedicated young force this is possible to achieve.
Principal GHSS Dangri Suraj Parkash thanked the chief guest and large number of students and citizens present on the occasion for making the event a grand event. Latter Chief Guest of the programme MLC Vibodh Gupta distributed prizes to the winning students of prade and cultural programme. In the senior category in prade GHHS Dangri bagged the first prize and the first prize in the junior category in prade went to Gandhi Memorial High School. Prominent persons who were present on the occasion inculded Vinod Gupta, Atam Gupta, Khem Raj Sharma, Jagdish Raj, Vivek Sharma and officers of CRPF, GRIEF and Rashtriya Rifles.
