Visits Govt. Higher Secondary School at Chingus
BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta visited Government Higher Secondary School Chingus and interacted with the staff and students there. At Chingus local community members along with students and staff of Government Higher Secondary School Chingus gave a rousing reception to MLC Vibodh. In his welcome address School principal Mr. Ashok Sharma informed that this school is one of the prestigious institutions of the area and was established way back in 1970. During his address school principal also highlighted various issues related to school specially the poor condition of the school building. He said that due to the poor condition of school building there is a serious threat to the life of the students and teachers. Addressing the gathering at the school MLC Vibodh said that he is happy to visit this important educational institution of the area. He said that he will try his level best to ensure that all the genuine issues related to the school are addressed on priority. Reacting to the information given by school administration Vibodh said that as per the information available to him a DPR for an amount of Rs. 53 Lakh has been prepared for the construction of a new school building but this is yet to be implemented. Vibodh further added that Rs. 7.5 lakh has also been allocated to the school for the renovation of the existing building, but the work on this is yet to be started. He expressed his anguish our negligence to such a prestigious institution of the area by the successive past Governments of the state.
He assured the school authorities that he will soon meet the Hon’ble Education Minister Naim Akhter and will ensure that these problems of school are solved on priority. He said that present education minister of state Naim Akhter is a visionary man and he hoped that he will consider these issues of school on priority. Addressing students he said that present state Government accords top priority to education sector and this is the only way to lead our society towards progress and prosperity. He called upon the students community to seriously pursue their studies and prepare for competitive exams like IAS and KAS. This he said will give the younger generation better power and opportunity to contribute towards the welfare of masses in a more productive way. During his speech Vibodh also referred to the recent Mann Ki Baat radio programme by Hon’ble PM Sh. Narinder Modi in which he has impressed up the students to give equal importance to sports activities also. He further added that yesterday Hon’ble PM during his address has laid a special emphasis on innovative activities by students. He shared the message of Hon’ble PM during recent Maan Ki Baat with students and called upon every students to regularly listen this programme. He said that Maan Ki Baat is the most inspirational programme of the present time for the youth of this country and every one must become part of this and students should also send their views on this programme to Hon’ble PM. During his visit of the school MLC Vibodh was accompanied by Mandal Pardhan Chingus Kishan Sharma, Ranjeet Tara, Rakesh Sharma, Lovely Sharma, Sanish Sharma and Sorab Sharma.
