Highlighting role of Yoga in maintaining fine balance between body and mind, Vice-President, BJP Yudhvir Sethi today said that the age old Indian technique of Yoga is not merely a physical exercise but is helps in maintaining a fine balance between human body and mind.
He said that on the second international yoga day special sessions are being held across the nation and state and people are joining the movement of Yoga launched by Prime Minister Narinder Modi.
Yudhvir was speaking at the special Yoga day camp organised as part of International Yoga day celebrations by Aaradhaya Yog Trust at Peer kho Park Jammu. Over 300 yoga enthusiasts participated in the camp.
Yudhvir was chief guest on the occasion and Ajay Vaid State Vice President B.J.Y.M J&K was guest of honour.
The Yoga camp was organised under the patronage of Mahant Ravi Dass Ji.
While encouraging people at large to practice yoga, Ajay Vaid called for making Yoga an everyday activity and highlighted the positive impact Yog makes on the life, adding that the role of Yoga in healing body has been recognised all over the world.
Among others the camp was attended by Vipan Nischal, Chairman Aaradhaya Yog Trust, Chetan Sharma President Aaradhaya Yog Trust, Satish Sharma and Rinku.
