Congress faced a major setback when young , energetic and mass leader advocate Ronik Sharma alongwith his supporters joined the BJP Yuva Morcha at BJP headquarter. He was welcomed by the BJP State President and Member parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJYM State President Ravinder Raina and BJYM State prahabari Yudhvir Sethi by garlanding the new entrants. Welcoming the new entrants into party folds BJP State President Jugal Kishore said Congress party is a sinking ship and BJP is the only alternative for the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He asked the youth to to work day and night to ensure the BJP’s thumping victory in upcoming assembly elections so that BJP would form the government in the state at its own. He said Congress party has exploited the talents of the highly qualified youth and did nothing for their betterment. Addressing the youth BJYM State prabhari Yudhvie Sethi said like in parliament elections, youth of the state has to play a major role to though ant youth, anti poor Congress and the National Conference.

He said the leaders of Congress and National Conference has plundered the state and did nothing for the people of J&K. Speaking on the occasion advocate Ronik Sharma said he resigned from congress in protest against anti-people policies of Congress and joined BJP to serve the poor and deprived people of the state. He said congress has just promoted corruption, unemployement, anarchy and division in the state. He further stated that in the coming election the present coalition will be completely routed out and BJP will form the Govt in J&K.
