BJP State Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi today inaugurated “Edunius Expo-2016”, a two-day-long Education Fair, at Jhelum Resorts here.
The Education Expo has been organised by Satyam Exhibitors.
Yudhvir Sethi, who was the chief guest in the event, went around all the stalls set up by various colleges and educational institutes from all parts of the country and held an interaction with the representatives of these colleges.
Speaking on the occasion, Sethi appreciated the efforts of organizers for holding such an important event and said it would serve as a single window for guiding the recently passed students of higher secondary schools, besides others, who earlier had to visit all different colleges of the country and take the details of the courses.
“The students will be able to have a one-on-one interaction with the colleges. What is more important is that they will get the information at one place,” Sethi said while expressing his satisfaction over the event.
He urged the students to come and visit the expo so that they save time and take good and make fast decisions about their career. “Such events will definitely give a chance to students to become more aware and focused about their future. It is a great opportunity for students to meet several representatives from various institutions offering multiple courses in a single window mode under single roof,” Seth said.
He also asked the organisers to conduct such events in other parts of the state so that maximum youth are benefited.
Around 50 colleges and institutes of higher learning have participated in the Education Expo which has received overwhelming response as record footfall of students was witnessed on the first day of the event. Parents along with children thronged the venue in large numbers.
Along with guidance on courses, the colleges and institutes of higher learning at the expo would also make the students aware of basic career guidance to enable them to make proper decisions.
At the Expo, every stall is equipped with guides and experts from the colleges and other institutes offering courses in medical, engineering, management and other various undergraduate and postgraduate streams.
