Nation indebted to contributions of Dr. Ambedkar: Yudhvir Sethi
To commemorate the 61st Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharat Ratan Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a social function was organised BJP Aunsuchit Jaati Morcha organised a special social program at Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath park opposite Civil Secretariat, here today.
Vice-President BJP Yudhvir Sethi was chief guest and MLA, Khour Krishan Lal Bhagat was guest of honour on the occasion.
National Executive Member SC Morcha, BJP Surinder Bhagat, Bansi Lal Chowdhary Senior leader along with large number of people paid rich tributes to Dr. B R Ambedkar.
While acknowledging contributions of Dr. Ambedkar, Yudhvir said that the nation in indebted to the stalwart leader who was chief architect of Indian Constitution and the document of governance which Baba Saheb gave to the country has been recognized as one of the best in the world.
He said that the nation recognizes the commitment of Baba Saheb for social justice and equality and the BJP party is committed to ameliorate the lot of the marginalized.
Remembering Baba Saheb, Dr. Bhagat said that Dr. Ambedkar paid special attention to ensure that marginalized sections of the society get their due share in the country. Special provisions have been made in the Constitution to ensure that depressed classes get social justice and all sections of the society are given opportunity to grow and contribute in nation building, he added.
Surinder Bhagat said that contributions of Dr. Ambedkar towards underprivileged sections as well as towards woman empowerment, labour laws and many other fields of social justice are exemplary and all along his life Baba Saheb fought for the rights of poor and oppressed classes.
