Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma inaugurated the newly constructed Bathing Ghat at village Sainth, lane and drain in village Chamarki and Kitchen shed in village Thandi Chori in Khour block in presence of MLAs Dr. Krishan Lal Bhagat and Rajiv Sharma and dedicated the same to the public for use. These have been constructed by Rural Development Department under MPLAD scheme.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing a public gathering after the inaugural ceremonies, said that the Bathing Ghat, Kitchen shed, the lane and drain will be of great convenience to the public and such like facilities should be provided in every area.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that various development projects have been initiated in almost every area of the Parliamentary constituency and each one of them is getting completed in time.
Similarly, various welfare schemes have also been launched by the Narendra Modi-led NDA government which have been formulated for youth, women, senior citizens, weaker sections, farmer and so on and the people should themselves identity as to which of the scheme can benefit them. “Being MP, I have been raising every genuine demand and issue related to my constituency in and outside Parliament and it is the result of such efforts that many major projects have also been sanctioned for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency.”
State Media Secretary Suraj Singh, District President Manmohan Singh, Jagdish Bhagat, Kamal Bhagat, Surinder Singh, Mukesh Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
