M.L.A from R.S Pura Constituency Dr.Gagan Bhagat inaugurated several developmental works.While inaugurating the road Macadamization work from Dhindey Kalan Temple Road , speaking on the occasion, the Legislator informed that the said developmental work was a long pending demand of the people of the area and nearly four decades old.He said the Coalition Government was committed to create better infrastructural facilities in every nook and corner of the State under a well-knit development programme. Dr.Gagan also kick started the up-gradation of Lane & Drain which would cost Rs 5.50 Lacs and launched the work of boundary wall of Govt. Primary School at village Dravtey in Block R.S Pura.He also inaugurated the toilet complex at village Kotli Shah Doula, Miran Sahib, Tanda, Raipur Gujran, Phinder ,Jindlehar Villages constructed with a cost of Rs 4 lakh.He was also apprised of various demands pertaining to the development of the area by the villagers including requirement of Gate, store room and Safe Drinking water, Construction of cremation ground at Miran Sahib and its tiling of Bhagat Singh Park at Miran Sahib. He assured to address all genuine demands on priority. Earlier, Dr.Gagan Bhagat also attended a Public Grievances Camp at Village Miran Sahib in which large number of villagers were present ,he called upon the youths to avail the benefits from the Centrally Sponsored Schemes and through Skill Development Mission they can change their life ,as through the self employment programs they can become job providers rather than job seekers .While attacking on the opposition parties he said that these people has only one thing left that is they can scream and raise hue and cry ,the reality is that these parties like Congress , and N.C who have ruled the state for more than sixty years are the traitors and sole responsible for the plight of the people , he further added that people can judge themselves that the long pending works which were ignored are being done by the BJP govt. in the state and BJP led govt. at the centre, and people should identify these people and now they are trying to once again fool the people, but now the people and youth in particular will expose these people. On the complaint of local residents and the staff of the govt. Schools Dr.Gagan Bhagat called upon the concerned officers of the P.H.E department when it was brought into the notice of M.L.A R.S Pura that no school in R.S Pura area has clean, safe drinking water for the children of the institution, he strongly directed the officers to provide safe drinking water to the students or get ready to face the action .B.D.O Miran Sahib ,X.E.N- P.W.D (R&B) Rajan Mengi A.E.E, concerned officers, S.H.O Miran Sahib Pawan Kumar, BJP Mandal Pradhan Miran Sahib Devender Sharma and R.S Pura Natharam,Omprakash, Ramesh Lal, Bishan Dass,Gurdeep Saini,Inder Sudan,Gurmeet Singh,Ashwani and local public were also present on the occasion.
